First of all why I liked
this book, was that it was very easy to read. Author perfectly described
historical events to "simple" people to understand. Now I know more
things about history. I think if there were such books while I was in
school, I could get best marks, because at school I didn't understand
anything about history, it was "dark forest" to me. And such books like
this made me to understand so many things. I liked that author used
these artistic features in writing to describe history, these sentences
with feelings...I don't know how to express... these feelings made me
shiver, even cry. Now I have huge wish to visit Berlin and famous place
in Poland. I want to see and feel everything myself.
In
Lithuanian translation edition are colorful pictures in a middle of
book, which I really liked to watch and imagine every scenes in my head.
Now after this book I want to read more books about Second World War.
